During his academic journey, he had the privilege of attending masterclasses with some of the foremost concert performers, receiving scholarships both in Germany and Italy. In 2008, he was honored with the Stipendium fur Kammermusik at the “Koblenz International Guitar Academy”, alongside the Turkish guitarist Ozan Saritepe. Together, they established the "Akdeniz guitar duo", embarking on a series of concerts throughout North Rhine-Westphalia. He furthered his educational pursuit at the Academy of Advanced Studies in Koblenz, where he graduated in 2010 with a brilliant execution of “Concierto de Aranjuez”, with the Staatsorchester Rheinische Philharmonie.

He has won more than 10 awards in both national and international competitions, establishing himself as a prominent figure in the world of classical guitar. His performances, primarily as a soloist, have graced stages in Italy and abroad, including televised concerts that garnered praise from both audiences and critics.

His album "Reverie Italienne" has been reviewed as follows: “These works are an authentic Extremely Severe Climbing in terms of not only technical, but specially “expressive” difficulty [...] Brancaccio brings these pages to life by making his fingers write “expressiveness” every time they touch the strings of Alessandro Marseglia's splendid guitar made in 2007”

In 2014 and 2021, he achieved second-level diplomas, one in teaching and the other in chamber music, at the 'Tartini' Conservatory in Trieste, both awarded cum laude.
